The Prime Time Difference

Our Difference… For nearly 20 years Prime Time has been committed to offering opportunities for children’s success, while building their self esteem and well being. Prime Time strives for perfection and prides itself on keeping up with research and opportunities that will compliment their program. Prime Time often supersedes the regulations set before us by State and National Agencies. It is what we believe to be in the best interest of the children first and foremost that helps guide our philosophy.

At Prime Time we believe in the importance of early childhood education and that the experiences offered can affect a child’s social and cognitive abilities and sets the stage for long lasting success. Prime Time offers a variety of age appropriate activities for each and every stage of development. Classrooms are bight, cheerful and based around a specific theme. The Houghton Mifflin Curriculum is an important component of the classroom for all the pre-school children. That curriculum is enhanced with a curriculum on manners and independent studies. Learning opportunities are abundant at Prime Time from infancy through middle school. Prime Time is committed to children and families, we strive to promote respect for children through dedication, educational focus, and high standards for safety and cleanliness.

Our programs are accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education and The National Association of Education for Young Children. Why choose an accredited program? Accredited programs have demonstrated a commitment to providing high-quality programs for young children and their families. While the interactions among teachers and children and the developmental appropriateness of the curriculum. Health and safety, staff qualifications, physical environment, and administration are all reviewed during accreditation , but primarily consideration is given to the nature of the child’s experience. Accreditation helps you identify high-quality programs. This high quality is important for children and families, so parents can be reassured that their children are in good hands.

It is our belief that childhood is the ‘prime time’ in one’s life. We care for children at the ‘prime time’ of the day and offer ‘prime care’ a cut above the expected. Our programs are designed so that each child can learn all necessary skills to succeed in school and in life, both academically and socially.
