Our “little rascals� are busy learning, growing and experiencing the world around them. A variety of learning awareness activities are continually introduced to them throughout the day, like singing, reading, art, music, cooking, science, indoor and outdoor and play, both free and structured.. All of our classroom activities, regardless of age of children, focus on the seven developmental domains of learning at each level of a child’s development. These domains are: personal and social development; language and literacy; mathematical thinking; scientific thinking; physical development; and the arts. Each child engages in a daily schedule of academic activities that are age appropriate and based around their developmental stages. We foster a “learn as you are ready� philosophy; such as, encouraging children to use the potty only when they are physically and developmentally ready.
