Our little ones have left their diapers behind and climbed on board for a challenging, fun and educational journey under the sea. We call our children in this age group “little sponges� as they can absorb whatever you offer them. Because of their growing receptivity to a wider range of learning experiences, our teaching plans focus on a wider variety of learning styles as we introduce our early literacy and pre-writing skills. We give the children as much information as we can, allowing them to ‘absorb’ what they can, at their own pace. We focus on teachings from the ‘Creative Curriculum’ a planning tool that has been tested and proven to be one of the best on the market. But at Prime Time we take it one step further as our team of teachers meet at project planning meetings to plan together developmentally- appropriate practices for their particular class based on both age and ability of the children.
