Explorers Kindergarten Children are encouraged to explore through self-direction and guided experiences. Choice is key to promoting independence and self-respect. Prime Time focuses on individuality as the children explore the world around them both before and after school and during the summer and school breaks. There is morning and afternoon snack time where children can take time to eat and drink and choose from a variety of snacks. This program is offered to promote independence and freedom to choose. Many of the activities the Explorers participate in are self-guided, self-directed and offer lots of opportunities for exploration.
